The Ohio State upsets Michigan, moves up several spots in week three of Division I poll: Penn Monto/NFHCA

The Ohio State University field hockey team is 8-1 on the 2023 season, dropping only one contest to Louisville.

A few days ago, the Buckeyes took down Michigan 5-1. That Big 10 conference victory pushed them up in the rankings.

“The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll is a composite ranking of the top-25 teams with a .500 or better record in the nation each week. Each Division III team with an NFHCA member coach is permitted one vote for the ranking each week,” according to the association.

Additionally, the poll has no bearing on selection to the 2023 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship.
