The College of New Jersey jumps up this week, as well as Bates College in week four of the Division III NFHCA poll

The College of New Jersey quickly rebounded this week after dropping to No. 24 last week in the Division III National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll sponsored by Penn Monto.

The Lions squeezed out a win against No. 12-ranked Rowan 3-2. Rowan moves down five spots this week.

Swarthmore joins the top 25, and the top 10 sees only one change with Bates climbing into the 10th spot. The Bobcats beat Trinity 2-1 in its only overtime game of the season.

“The NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll is voted on by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on selection to the 2023 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship,” according to the association. “After two weeks of regular season competition, eligible teams must maintain a record of .500 or above to be eligible for ranking each week.”
