Shenandoah climbs, College of New Jersey drops, and SUNY Cortland ranks in week two of Division III coaches poll: Penn Monto/NFHCA

Shenandoah University saw the biggest gains in the latest Penn Monto and National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll.

The Hornets are 5-1. The team’s one loss on the season was to Johns Hopkins, which won the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship.

“The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll is a composite ranking of the top-25 teams with a .500 or better record in the nation each week. Each Division III team with an NFHCA member coach is permitted one vote for the ranking each week,” according to the association.

Additionally, the poll has no bearing on selection to the 2023 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship.
