USA Field Hockey tapped 144 elite high school, collegiate, and post-collegiate female athletes to compete at the Senior Nexus Championship.
The event, presented by Osaka Hockey, will take place at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. from July 11 to 16. Athletes will be evaluated and stand the chance of being selected to the 2023-24 U.S. Women’s Senior and Junior national field hockey teams.
Athletes selected to Senior Nexus trialed and trained during the spring and early summer at one of seven USA Field Hockey High Performance Centers. All athletes were previously named to U-18, U-21, and Development Women’s National Teams.
The event, formerly known as the Young Women’s National Championship, is a step toward USA Field Hockey’s Olympic Development Pathway program.
