F&M climbs for a second week in a row in week six of Division III NFHCA coaches poll

Franklin & Marshall is on an eight-game winning streak.

They are the only NCAA Division III college field hockey team to see a big bump in week six, according to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll sponsored by Penn Monto.

F&M, which took down Haverford and Ursinus, moved up to No. 22, while most teams remained the same as last week’s poll. Of the 25 teams, 12 moved up one or two spots.

“The NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll is voted on by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on selection to the 2023 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship,” according to the association. “After two weeks of regular season competition, eligible teams must maintain a record of .500 or above to be eligible for ranking each week.”
