This past college field hockey season showcased breathtaking games. Heart-pounding action. Skills for days.

The Tar Heels battled all the way to shootouts to claim their 11th national title. The star who scored earned national recognition for her fated sudden victory goal.

 

‘Heck of a season. Ryleigh Heck is the third Tar Heel to earn National Player of the Year honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association since the award started in 2010.’
