Female Athlete News is highlighting several of its features from March through May.
Starting off with our All Stars, the PAISAA list features female athletes who topped national and state rankings throughout the 2022 season. FAN recognized 20 standout athletes.
We determined notable players by talking to coaches, referencing the National Field Hockey and Pennsylvania High School Field Hockey coaches’ associations selected All Star lists, and relying on MAX Field Hockey, a stats-based website. Our list considered athletes who played on teams that went beyond the regular season and competed in the postseason, as well as their team’s competitive schedules.
