Virginia, under the leadership of a new head coach, has been picked as the most likely to claim the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Championship, according to the ACC.
The Cavaliers received the most votes by the league’s nine coaches, which was followed by North Carolina and Duke. Virginia’s coach Ole Keusgen served as acting head coach from the final week of the regular season to the team’s run to the NCAA Championship semifinals last season.
This year’s ACC includes newly added California and Stanford to its schedule. The 2024 ACC Field Hockey season will begin on Friday, August 30.
