Female Athlete News and USA Field Hockey are hosting a 5 v 5 tournament in July 2025 at In the Net in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. In the Net has an indoor turf field, an outdoor turf, and will have newly installed turf baseball fields.
Registration process: Complete the form; FAN will confirm your registration; a nonrefundable $400 deposit will be due no later than December 1. When FAN confirms your team’s attendance (email or phone number, whichever one your team prefers), you will be given options to make your deposit. Each team will be contacted in the order in which we receive registration forms. If you choose email, please be on the lookout for an email from [email protected]. The remainder of the balance is due March 8, along with team names, rosters, and coaches’ names. Coaches and teams will receive FIH rules in March.
Cancellation: Teams that want to play but are unable to complete early registration, FAN will keep your contact information confidential and contact you in March if any teams decide not to play. There are limited spaces.
Schedule: Schedules will be supplied to teams by mid-May 2025.
Individual Player fees: If you are looking to play and FAN finds a team for your placement, we will contact you in November. If you cancel more than 21 days before the tournament, you’ll receive a refund of your balance minus a $25 processing fee. If you cancel less than 21 days before the tournament, or if you cancel after being placed on a team, you won’t receive a refund. The total per youth individual is $127.50 and $140 for adult individual.
Tournament cancellation: If the tournament is canceled due to unforeseen federal or state mandates, you’ll receive a credit for the full tournament fee minus a $100 processing fee. The credit will be used for the 2026 National Hockey5s Chocolate Cup.
Travel: Teams and individual players are responsible for their own travel, meals, and hotel. We will have several food trucks on site during the tournament, as well as a concessions stand.
Accommodation: We recommend using the Hershey & Harrisburg Sports and Events Authority website. Please visit https://www.visithersheyharrisburg.org/hotels/ to find a hotel that matches your desired stay. We are also partnering with a few hotels, like the Hershey Lodge, where we will have rooms blocked for Hockey5s guests at a lower rate. FAN will provide those hotels to coaches once your team(s) is/are confirmed.
Facility location: In the Net, 798 Airport Road, Palmyra, PA. Parking is free. And, attendance is free.
Hersheypark: We are excited to offer every athlete, coach, umpire, vendor, and event attendee 50 percent off tickets. We will have more information in May 2025.
