It’s time to get hype.   Dozens of field hockey players in District 3 have worked hard throughout their 2023 Fall season journey to arrive at Landis Field for the final field hockey game of the district postseason.   The Class 2A competition features Palmyra versus Northern York. The game is the second of the day and starts around 1 p.m.   Here’s what we know:   No. 1 Palmyra [17-1-1]   Palmyra is the defending District 3 Class 2A champions.   The Cougars often think as one team. They work to split defenders, shake free from being marked, and create plays that pace and place the ball into open space.   They have strategies to fire off shots that are either direct or a bit more complex.
