Mount Olive ranks in week three of Division II coaches poll sponsored by Penn Monto: NFHCA

The University of Mount Olive was ranked No. 7 in the Penn Monto and NFHCA coaches poll in week three.

 

The Trojans are 7-1; having only suffered one loss at the start of the season to Shippensburg field hockey. The SAC Conference team has 14 internationals on its 26-athlete roster, who hail from the Netherlands, South Africa, Germany, Namibia, New Zealand, Argentina, and Belgium, according to the team’s website.

 

“The NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll is voted on by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on selection to the 2023 NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship,” according to the association. “After two weeks of regular season competition, eligible teams must maintain a record of .500 or above to be eligible for ranking each week.”
