Why Villanova? “After my initial recruiting call with Villanova,  it became abundantly clear that it was the perfect school for me. The campus’s stunning beauty and exceptional academic standards set it apart from most other schools in Pennsylvania. However, what stood out to me the most was the remarkable team culture and sisterhood, fostered by an incredible group of coaches. I have rarely encountered such a dedicated and supportive group of individuals who genuinely embody the team’s core values. In my discussions with the coaching staff about my future goals and personal standards, I discovered that my principles align perfectly with those of Villanova Field Hockey. I can’t wait to become a part of such an amazing program!”

Describe a field hockey memory you won’t forget. And, why? “After 24 long years, West Perry Field Hockey finally won PECO (Perry County’s annual field hockey tournament). While this tournament may not carry the same prestige as a district or state title, its significance to our team was undeniable as we stepped onto the field for the championship game. More valuable than the trophy and celebratory photos was the establishment of our team dynamic, which has swiftly become a defining feature of WPFH. Embracing each other’s success, never leaving a teammate behind, and giving an unwavering 110 percent on the field, not for personal gain but for the entire team, have become integral parts of our identity. Winning PECO, for me, set the tone for the entire 2023 season, making it completely unforgettable.”
