Pennsylvania High School field hockey often earns respect from coaches and players from other states.
There is a tremendous amount of talent in the Commonwealth (coaches included) from the top all the way to the bottom of any list. The high school season has reached its halfway point and there is more excellent hockey to showcase.
Athletes have told FAN they are focused on honing their skills to improve upon their prior performances. Teams are traveling outside of their district to get better. And, some teams attend national events like the MAX Field Hockey High School Invitational, which took place at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken over the weekend.
There are just over seven weeks remaining until the state championships at Cumberland Valley High School.
