Female Athlete News is excited to present our second annual East vs West high school girls PA Field Hockey Senior Cup.
It is our pleasure to announce that the following 200 plus athletes have been invited. The event is set to take place March 22-23 at Lower Dauphin Middle School in Hummelstown.
FAN is also honored to announce that we again partnered with the Pennsylvania High School Field Hockey Coaches Association.
“We are truly honored to have the support of the state association,” said FAN CEO and founder Jana Benscoter. “Our partnership allows us to reach as many coaches as possible and quickly spread the word that we are taking public and private school nominations featuring athletes from across the Commonwealth.”
FAN will continue to take nominations until January 31, specifically, for coaches that are not a member of the association.

Theme
This year’s tournament has a theme focused on encouraging high school coaches to create an environment, where student-athletes are comfortable to talk about mental-health.
With that said, FAN is honored to have “The Next Play Movie” attend. Koula Sossiadis Kazista and Katina Sossiadis, the filmmakers, will conduct sideline interviews with athletes interested in being cast. It is the first-ever field hockey movie produced in the United States.
The movie is slated to be shot in the Lehigh Valley in July 2025. It will “explore the dynamics of rivalry within a high school field hockey team, delving deeply into the intricacies of friendship, sisterhood, and the unique challenges faced by a close-knit yet competitive group of athletes.”
Tournament information
Each team will play in four games on Saturday, which includes one crossover game. The teams with the best records will advance to Sunday’s bronze medal and championship games.
“We currently have seven teams,” Benscoter said. “Athletes must confirm their participation so we can start to work on crafting teams and working on uniforms. They can do that by emailing us at [email protected].”
Teams that have more than three athletes listed are providing at least one or more goalies. Goalies are marked with an asterisk.
There is no cost to the athletes to participate. Food and travel are the responsibility of the athlete. We will have food trucks at the event.
The following list will be updated if more schools submit nominees and their athletes are selected to play. All players are picked by their coach and are welcome, whether they are going to play in college or not.
